Library Assistant II - Hortonville

The Hortonville Public Library is seeking a positive individual with a passion for books, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn to serve in a Library Assistant II position.  Duties will include customer service, collection maintenance, and day-to-day circulation activities, as well as management of our weekly storytime for 2-3 year olds, “Rhythms, Rhymes & Read.”  Basic understanding of technology and organizational skills a must.  Hours will be about 15 per week including evenings and one to two Saturdays per month.  A high school diploma is required.  Preference will be given to candidates with experience in customer service, working with children, or library work.
